Every state requires OSHA Employee Training within the dental office setting. Each year dental teams are required to partake in a current OSHA / HIPAA Annual Employee Training to ensure their team measures up to what the law dictates. If you however, live in these states you’ll have additional State OSHA Laws to abide by: Alaska, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virgin Islands, Virginia, Washington or Wyoming.
Keep in mind that Illinois, New Jersey and New York have State OSHA laws for State employees only.
